Occupational Therapy 

Occupational therapy is a rehabilitation treatment targeting people with temporay or permanent physical and mental injuries. The enhancement of the self-care ability of elderlies, as well as the promotion of their independent living, are achieved primarily through rehabilitation training, cognitive training, assistive devices and environmental modifications. In addition, the intellectual capability of elderlies is assessed to arrange for appropriate training. For those with weak bodily functions, occupational therapy provides decompression and posture assessments. Suitable assistive equipment are selected to reduce pressure sores and conditions of body distortion to increase the level of comfort.
